This year’s Nebraska Folk & Roots Festival will be held August 24th-25th, of 2018. The two-day festival will highlight more than two dozen national and local acts on two stages. This will be the fifth offering of our annual festival. In 2017, more than 2,000 attendees celebrated great music during two days and nights of an incredibly fun and successful event. This year, Nebraska Folk & Roots goes back to its roots, moving to a new rural location after three years at Branched Oak Farm.
We will be hosting the event at River Park West, just outside of Elkhorn, Nebraska.
This year’s festival has a decidedly local flavor as we are working to feature local food, local beer, local wine, and select local businesses and organizations who want only the best in exposure directly to a community who loves to support the same locally thriving scene. This is a unique opportunity to reach a sophisticated, captive audience at a family-friendly event. We are in the process of booking eclectic musical talent including bluegrass, rock & roll, old timey, world, and folk music.
The 2018 Nebraska Folk & Roots Festival will draw thousands of people for a positive community experience in a fun, inviting setting.

The Nebraska Folk & Roots Festival reaches a desirable key audience segment and provides a fun, entertaiing, and engaging way for you to earn top-of-mind awareness and instant name recognition. The two-day event is a perfect way to reach thousands of local, young professionals. Saturday afternoon will feature family activities to attract that important demographic. Feel good about supporting our local arts and heritage while enjoying a truly unforgettable weekend.

MEDIA REACH
Social media posts will reach many tens of thousands of people and fans for months.
Pre-sale event at the Bourbon Theater will feature early sponsors and provide early buzz. We'll use paid online advertising on Facebook and YouTube to reach several tens of thousands. Print advertising in Lincoln and Omaha. Earned media interviews (interviews, news stories, blogs, etc.) -- in 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017, stories were featured on KLKN, KOLN/KGIN, Lincoln Journal Star, and included several posts on Hear Nebraska. Radio advertising on both KZUM, local community radio, and local paid affiliates through Eagles Broadcasting House.
More than 200 posters and hundreds of handbills distributed locally with even more distributed to locations within 50 miles of the event. Event signage, including banners and road signs. All digital media will contain links to the festival website which will display sponsor logos.

SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

Presenting Sponsor - $10,000 (limit 1)
As the presenting sponsor, your organization's name and logo will be a prominent part of all marketing and advertising efforts for the festival. For example, the festival will be billed as “[YOUR ORGANIZATION] Presents the 2018 Nebraska Folk and Roots Festival!” Your name will be seen and heard consistently by thousands, both during the festival and before. Your logo will be featured prominently on all banners, videos, and collateral materials. In addition, your organization will be presented with 50 VIP tickets for employees, friends, and family members.
